The attendance office is open Monday through Thursday, 7:50 a.m. to 2:50 p.m., and Friday, 7:50 a.m. to 1:20 p.m. Please leave a detailed message about your student’s absence or appointment and the secretary will update your student’s attendance in Infinite Campus.

Franklin Families:
We have had a great start to the year at Franklin! Students are finding their classes and getting into routines. At this point, we are ready to start ensuring that students are getting to classes on time and maximizing their instructional experience at Franklin.
We will begin tracking student tardies and absences on Tuesday, September 5. A report will be run each Friday to see the number of tardies each student has acquired throughout the week. If a student has 4 or more tardies in a week, they will be assigned a 30-minute lunch detention; each additional tardy will be an additional detention (see the example below).

Students will be notified of their detention(s) on Monday morning in Advisory class, and it will be their responsibility to make sure they are serving them. If they miss their detention, there may be additional consequences in addition to making up the detention.
If a student has an unexcused absence in class, they will be assigned 1 detention for that absence. If a student walks out of a class without permission, they will be assigned 1 detention for that classroom walkout.
