On behalf of the Franklin PTA, I am excited to welcome everyone to the 2023-2024 school year. We are energized and looking forward to supporting our students, teachers, and staff. We appreciate your membership, donations, volunteer efforts, time, talents, and enthusiasm as we head into another school year. Our community is stronger when we work together.

Our meetings will be held virtually at 9:00 AM. The link to join the meetings will be sent out via email and posted on our facebook page. At the meetings you will have an opportunity to learn about current and upcoming events at the school. We also discuss ways to support Franklin. We look forward to your participation and new ideas.

If you’re unable to attend the meetings there are many opportunities to support the Franklin PTA and our mission to make every child’s potential a reality. The more we contribute the stronger and more connected our school community grows.

Franklin PTA Goals and Objectives

A. To increase communication between parents, teachers.

  1. Encouraging participation in PTA.
  2. Updating parents about activities at school through the Franklin website, PTA calendar, email communications and Franklin e-newsletter.

B. To assist the staff and administration in providing opportunities for all students of Franklin Middle School by:

  1. Supplying volunteers and coordinating their availability.
  2. Organizing and implementing fundraising projects to provide supplemental resources for education materials, equipment, and other needs.

How can I volunteer and help out?

Please click here for a volunteer sign-up sheet. Please send it back to school to the main office. When we have opportunities that fit your requests, we will contact you.

In addition, we use Sign Up Genius to send out digital requests when we need them. Even if you are not a member of the PTA, all parents help make a difference.

Additionally, financial contributions are always welcome. PTA has provided funds for the Franklin auditorium sound system, fitness room, and hallway televisions that stream daily announcements.
