The health services staff at Franklin Middle School is here to care for students during the school day. The health clinic is open on school days from 7:30 a.m. to 3:15 p.m.

To incoming seventh grade parents

Iowa law requires all students entering seventh grade to have proof of a TDaP (Tetanus, Diptheria, Pertussis) booster. Protection provided by the vaccines received as young children wears off as children age, so adolescents need a booster after the age of 11. This information needs to be provided to the school before school starts in August.

If your child has received the Tdap vaccination after the age of 11, please send the information to school as soon as possible. If your child needs the vaccine, please contact your health care provider.
